Take a look at the 1901 entry in Suffolk for Fred Taylor aged 9 b Acton Suffolk.  Parents Fredk Wm & Charlott E
Fred snr was a bank cashier but look at his occ in 1911.  Same as 1922 marriage cert and died 6.8.1918.

You said that the 1922 marriage cert shows father as deceased - he died 1918
