All stories are free to stream on your desktop, laptop, phone or tablet.

I'm not sure if this has been covered before, but for those who want to know the scientific basis on which the government is basing it's decisions,it's here

The key factor is the "R nought" value, the number of people on average one person will infect if there are no mitigating factors.

Seeing the images many people on this thread have on their profile has inspired me to try one.

I don't know if it will work - and I don't know if I will get away with it, but the tin bath does make it 'historical'!

ADDED -- it worked! So when we have another party, I will be the one with deviant follicles (as mentioned previously when discussing the shallow topic of not being able to go to hairdressers!!)

I listened as usual to Saturday Live on Radio4 this morning. (Well, I listen on and off between doing other things.) It was a blessed relief from any talk of Covid19.
Perhaps they should reduce all the hourly news bulletins to 3 a day or whatever it used to be.

Well it looks like the party is going well.  You all seem to be enjoying yourself and the Blue Nun and Prosecco is flowing.  Some of the food sounds a bit suspect but I'll try anything once.

Masterchef was disappointing.  I fell asleep half way through.  Maybe I should have stayed at the party.

We have spent the morning deep cleaning our hobby/computer room so it is now all clean and shiny and smelling lovely.  The sun is shining through the window and the world is good.

So far, there have been far more personal positives than negatives to the situation but that may change if the news starts to get worse.  At least I feel good now.

Maybe we should all clear out our cupboards and see who has the earliest sell-by date.
