Oh - for nostalgia's sake I've still got a glitter strappy tank top I knitted from an unravelled jumper from a charity shop in the 70s, bit risqué with a lacy pattern but it's a rootschat party so who cares? I am sure I'll squeeze in somehow. Add on the orange cork platform slip ons & wet look flares, bingo....

I have a bright blue satin skirt that has a split up to the side which was almost indecent.  I was wearing it the night I met my husband.

I tried to get into a many years ago and it didn't go past my knees.  I'm not sure how far it would get now but, again, as it's Rootschat I'm sure nobody would mind.

I think we would look great together Josey.

I'll wear my hot pants. Might not look too hot in them these days -- if I ever did!

I thought there was another thread for this 'party'?
It's vanished.

There was but it's been merged and ended up here again.  What do I do now?

Create a new post but not say that it was first named this one. Consider something more tasteful too. People are dying right now.

Ankerdine - I don't see why the party can't continue.  I think it should go on for the length of the outbreak (not outbread as I typed first).  Lobster bisque soup sounds good and I don't think that would go off if it's in a tin.

Wasn't it 'A long and lonely Christmas without you'?  That was by Dana.  Never mind, we'll change it.  I'm sure she won't mind.

You're obviously fixated on bread, as I am. Anyone remember the bakers' strike in Britain 1977 ? There was an emergency loaf, nicknamed "Jubilee Loaf". I could bring a loaf of "emergency bread" which I made back then. I finally succeeded in baking a palatable loaf in the final week of the strike.
