Thanks everyone.  The party continues then.

Put on your hotpants (ladies) and white trousers (men) and let's party.

Men in white trousers - so there will be morris dancing! :-) and I could supply home made orange wine - made about 1982 - so it should have quite a punch to it by now!

I have my psychedelic shirt and platform shoes, but can't yet locate my black crushed velvet flares.
Meanwhile chilling out to Arthur Rubinstein playing Chopin Nocturnes.

Roger

Oh wow!! You look really great.  I especially love those platform shoes.  I used to wear platform shoes but now I doubt I could walk in them.  Actually I'm not sure I could walk in them then.

Aaah!
“ Men in White Trousers”
Procul Harum or The Moody  Blues.
Mart, I like, reeeelylike Men Buns .
I believe you have stated you don’t in another topic.
Give it a go ,in the words of Father Ted’s housekeeper” Gwaaangwaaangwaaan!

Did anyone see the episode a few days  ago, ?
The old drunken priest had formed an attachment to a brick, had it  on a  lead.
Of course it ended up becoming a lethal weapon.
Truly worth watching.

I am fully recovered from my ordeal by corset,it has gone in the bin.
Actually it was all lies but something very like that did  happen years  ago.
Weighing under nine stones I cannot imagine why I thought I needed such a thing .I was 23 and skinny.
It was Christmas Day too, kids and O.H gone to grandma’s whilst I got on with the big meal. There was  I stuck, pudding boiling dry and meat burning
etc etc.
All water under the bridge now.
I have quite a few Greek drinks, holiday gifts I shall never drink .
Mastic, that stuff they get from trees,Ouzo etc.
Will donate those.
My rendition ,but only after s good few drinks (say half a glass of water that  has seen a glass of sherry-I truly have very low tolerance ,a shandy for me is an inch of beer and a full glass of lemonade)is “ See what the boys in the back room will  have,
exactly as Marlene Dietrich did .
Bet none of you are old enough.!

“Cheerio for now. Viktoria.

This is true!

I had to leave the party to go up to the cemetery - not joking - it was really busy up there. Runners, Walkers, Dog Walkers and people taking flowers to their Mums' graves.

Hence - now is the time to go and shop! I called into my local Tesco Express on my way back to THIS party. I was able to buy some fruit, milk, a bottle of wine and some diet lemonade.

The wine is MINE - all MINE -- but I'll bring the milk.
Places of interest;
Lancashire, West Yorkshire, Southern Ireland, Scotland.
