Hi party-goers.

I slept long and deep last night and woke up feeling really low.  It took a long time to get myself together.  I even felt I couldn't go on with the parties but I've got over that now.  We have deep-cleaned another room which feels lovely.  We are slowly getting around the house.  Cupboards next and then the dreaded garage.

The sun is shining and things look good from here so I'll carry on carrying on.  I think it's the news and social media (NOT RC) that gets me down so I intend to watch less and restrict myself to whatever BoJo says and the implications.

So, we are on Day 5.  I hope the sleepover went well but it was probably a bit over-shadowed.  So, how about we have a picnic today?  Let's all get virtually outside, pack up some sandwiches (bread again?) and lemonade, spread the blanket and enjoy each other's company.  I love picnics and just wish we did more but never seem to find the time.  Oh well!!

I hope everyone is OK.  I'm going to attempt an on-line shop today because I only have enough food to last about 10 more days.  We'll see how it goes.

Stay safe, stay happy, stay indoors.

Hi Rishile -- I expect you are not the only one feeling low today. So firstly, get up off the floor (if you can.)

I have cut my own fringe and made a bit of a mess of it - I'll wear a hat to the picnic -- and a mask. I'll try and find a clown mask. Friends will say they can't spot the difference.

Despair - that tree is lovely.  Could we sit under it for our picnic?

..but when I did I had a go at the Corona dance  ;D.

Here’s how it goes - you meet someone coming towards you, you both dodge in the same direction until one of you stands still, keeping a distance of at least 12 feet.  As you pass you nod and smile ruefully, a sorry, sorry will gain you extra points.  ;D

We had to do a variation of this today.  We went out for our exercise and headed to the local shop for a few bits.  Just outside the shop is a seat and a man came out of the shop and went to walk in front of the seat, saw us walking in front of it and double-backed to walk behind it.  I find it amusing how everyone has the same silly grins on their faces when this sort of thing happens.

The virus needs cooler conditions so hot drinks  regularly throughout the day are very beneficial.Every 15 minutes ideally.

If I have a hot drink every 15 minutes I'll be in a lock down in the toilet.  ;D ;D

Oh Groom -- I thought that too! I also wondered if there were toilet facilities at our picnic site.

Don't think many of us are coming actually. The usual party goers are very quiet at the moment.

I pass a cherry-blossom tree on my walks.
Located in the Archibald Knox Memorial Garden.

My parents used to have one in the garden of the house I grew up in, so it's a lovely memory ;D
