Retrieval of Irish archive lost in 1922 fire in Dublin's 4 Courts
« on: Monday 23 March 20 16:45 GMT (UK) »
I'm asking did anybody hear about an "update"  on the above subject. The news came out on the 5th of Dec. 2019,  that they were making an attempt to retrieve these records. However, by checking google on several tries, I could Not find any follow up to this story. Any "new" information would be appreciated.

Thanks for the replies. Yes, Beyond 2022 was the title of my listed subject. I guess there is no evidence of any "new" archival information that was actually retrieved yet.

There was an item on TV showing some of the records and what they needed to do etc. It is going to be scrap by scrap recovery of each page etc and going to be a very long process.

It might be on youtube.
Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.
