Unable to edit

I have been unable to edit my posts which is a bit of a nuisance when I've made a typo or put a word in where it shouldn't be. I don't know if it's because I did something I shouldn't a short while ago  but I've learnt my lesson and certainly wouldn't do it again. (It wasn't anything offensive!) I know I can preview my posts but that's not always practical.

Is it possible to go back to being able to edit my posts please?

Are you trying to edit something you posted more than 24 hrs previously?  If so - you can’t - you can only edit within 24hrs of posting

No Carole, I wanted to edit a post on the Covid19 part 6 thread that I posted within the last hour.

Perhaps you need to pm Sarah or Trystan and ask them to check for you.  Is the Modify button displaying on your post?

No it isn't but strangely enough it's showing on the posts on this thread.

Which board did you post on?
I thought there were some where you couldn't edit?

The Covid19 thread is on a board headed as General. Can't say I'm familiar with that board, perhaps you have the answer.
