Henry Fielding, 1841 Census
« on: Tuesday 24 March 20 18:13 GMT (UK) »
Hello,

I’m trying to find Henry. He was born in 1828, in Potterne near Devizes. His mother’s name was Mary. Can anyone please look around for him? I’ve tried FindMyPast but had no luck.

I’d appreciate any help!

No need to be sorry, I was hoping that the Wiltshire OPC would be informative but the transcripts only go up to 1812.

There is this baptism at Potterne; 1791. 20-Nov. Fielding Robert. Father; Samuel. Mother; Mary.

If that is Henry's father then we should look for a marriage from 1805 onward

Thanks! I had no idea what became of him. That’s great.

I’ve found Henry. Living with his brother Robert in Bishops Abbots. His mother Mary appears to have remarried to William Dean, and had a number of children. I haven’t found the remarriage between 1830 and 1841.
