NEALE - vanished in Census, can anybody help?
« on: Tuesday 24 March 20 20:06 GMT (UK) »
Hi, I have managed to locate pretty much every record on my g-Grandfather,  Henry Thomas Neale, (b. Birmingham 1869, Dd.1927) and have him and his family in the census records of 1871, 1881, 1901 and 1911, but I can't find the family anywhere in the 1891 census. Wife was Frances Ann (Jenkins), they married in 1892, so Henry should still have been with his father (also Henry Thomas Neale)  in 1891, but I can't find him.  Any help very gratefully received.
Neale, Stapleton, Lowe, Rusgrove, Mann.

The marriage cert for Henry Thomas Neale and Elizabeth Field is online through Ancestry. They married in St Paul's, Birmingham, on Jan 10 1892. Henry was 22, and a blacksmith; his father had the same name. Both Henry and Elizabeth were living at 28 Alfred St.

The only marriage for a Frances A Jenkins in 1892 on freeBMD was in Cardiff, and neither potential groom was  Neale.

Can Elizabeth Field be located in 1891 to see if Henry was nearby.

Her father was John Field a brass dresser? per the marriage.
