Resourceful and unselfish
« on: Wednesday 25 March 20 10:32 GMT (UK) »
There is a lovely story in the 1 this morning. The man had suffered a badly broken leg a couple of years ago resulting in, earlier this year, a lower limb amputation.
Becasue of the current situation his appointments for a prosthetic limb have been put back for many months.
His resourceful wife came up with a temporary job using bits and pieces of timber she found in the garden shed and their son's old plastic seaside bucket, together with a modified Moon Boot. It works and enables him to move around without the use of a wheelchair.
He said "I do not want to divert anybody in the NHS from anything much more important at this time. There are people out there far worse off than me"

There's nothing wrong with being mediocre...as long as you're good at it!
