I echo the general feelings of most people that Charles makes a full recovery.

Does anyone really fully recover after having this virus?  According to a doctor on TV today who was castigating a certain sector of the population, then added that sufferers of this virus will inevitably end up having scarred lung tissue which will impinge on their health for the rest of their lives.

As with any disease of the lung some people will get lung scarring others will not it really depends on the viral load and the state of your lungs in the first place. the more healthy your lungs the more chance of a full recovery.

At least he's going to get medical care and - unlike the rest of us - won't be refused a test, told to say home in isolation, and not to contact GP or dial 111. Basically in this country at present, if you think you might have cv you are abandoned and there is no attempt to diagnose your illness;  thus the infection figures are grossly inaccurate.

Don't get me wrong -  I like Prince Charles; he does work hard and is well-meaning.  But one of the main concerns currently should be trying to find all those people he's shaken hands with in the last month.
