Mr G is a fortune teller - he ordered 4 cases a couple of weeks back. It arrived on Monday, just after my Sainsburys delivery  ;D

PS - It's all for him now as we can't invite friends around. I only take an occasional sip!

48 bottles on wine.

The wine society that we use only delivers in bulk  ;D

Update (26/3): We are aware that certain businesses selling alcohol from shop premises have been added to the list of 'essentials'. However, it is not clear, and certainly not confirmed that alcohol as a product is an essential. We are seeking clarity and keeping this under review.

Add - if you ever visit Newcastle, you'd be quite welcome to drop in and have a glass :D

Good evening,

Many "off licences" also sell groceries. Only the big chains that don't and not so many of them now since threshers went bust.

For threshers read, unwins, victoria wines and at least 4 others that were bought out by threshers. Mind has gone blank so can't remember the others they took over.

Our local garden centre also has an excellent grocery/meat/fruit and veg section. I believe it’s still open.
Please acknowledge when a restorer works on your photos, it can take hours for them to work their magic

Please scan at 300dpi minimum to help save the restorers eyesight.

I only think of an off licence as a local/corner shop selling essentials plus alcohol rather than alcohol and a few other items.

With regard to garden centres, many seem to have expanded into clothing, gifts and specialised food outlets of late.

Delivers in bulk? - that's half a vineyard. A glass, from 48 bottles? .... :o

Mr. G. needn't worry that I would deplete his stock even if I were to make it to Newcastle.  On a drinking scale from 0 to 9, I'm about a 0.2, maybe a little lower.
