Married Colin Hargate at Staincross 1942...looking for any info on social re occupation, etc and place of death.

What do you mean by "social"?

How would we know her occupation from 1942?  Look on the 1939 register to see if you can find her or future husband to establish occupations or buy a copy of the marriage cert as that will give info

Place of death will be on her death certificate.

You have her death as 1999, what are the registration details as I can't see an entry in that year.  Presumably she is still Hargate

ADDED The couple do appear on electoral registers in Wombwell/Wentworth on Ancestry.

Staincross registration district was large district covering a huge area east( Darfield) north (High Holland)and west ( Penistone) of Barnsley town. Within the Staincross registration there were 3 sub districts Darton, Wombwell and Penistone.In 1974 with the creation of the Metropolitan Borough of Barnsley most transferred to that new district.

Where did the couple marry? Where did they live post marriage and later?

I know very little, but do know she was born in Barnsley and father was a miner and brothers at Darfield.
