I agree with warncoort - we do need more information for us to help you.

I would ask five specific questions:
(1)  What is (are) the name(s) of the McMINN you have in Lancashire?
(2)  What information do you have on the dates and locations (parishes, towns etc.)
(3)  What is (are) the source(s) of your information?
(4)  What exactly are you wanting to find out?
and
(5)  Are you looking for living people? (if so, we cannot help by posting details of living people - but we might be able to point you in the direction of other resources)

Philip
Please help me to help you by citing sources for information.

I can see a probate record for Arthur Helm McMinn/MacMinn of Stockport Road, Denton.  He died 4 January 1965 at The General Hospital, Ashton-under-Lyne.  Probate is to another McMinn - I have not named him as he may still be alive.

Is this one of the family?
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!
If you don't ask the question, you won't get an answer.

Hi Lisa

The 1911 census for Lancashire has 99 entries for surname McMinn so you can appreciate our problem if we don't know which McMinn family you are researching
