You have been reminded on a number of your posts that you should use freebmd,  1939 register etc etc to find info post 1911.  You have also been given links to other sources

Free bmd has a likely death for him in Yorkshire.  You can search for deaths by year of birth, and if you look at births, Percy is not shown with any second name.  This can rule out some entries, but there are very few anyway.

He could have died after freebmd entries, but then you can look on deaths in GRO which start again in 1984.

If you have Ancestry or F M P then they have suitable or suggested entries.
