Hi

There was huge support outside our respective Front Doors at 7.59pm and all clapping by 8pm for Carers and our NHS and people busy looking after others. It was echoing between the houses in the Close, we could hear others further away cheering and shouting too!  :)  :D

My clap also went to anyone making an effort to help, found it quite emotional to be honest

I was very surprised at the turn-out too because everyone in our street always seems to be in bed by 6.00pm but they made a very good effort and claps and shouts of 'Thank you NHS' were heard all round.  I also felt very emotional too.  It was good to see Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis clapping too.

A very emotional time here too. A number of my neighbours either work in Blackpool Victoria Hospital or have relatives who work either there or at Preston Royal.    I hope when this emergency is over that all NHS staff are recognised financially with a substantial pay increase.
