Cyrill George Bartlett lookup please

looking for Cyrill George Bartlett from 1940 to 1969 (he died 1969 Hounslow, Greater London).
He was in the military.
I know he married Dorinda Ambrose in 1943 in Sri Lanka.
Dorinda (Druida) came to England in 1943 with (step)son (?) Walter Bartlett (aged 15 in 1943).
Cyrill did not come with them at that time.

Druida died in England, Ealing in 1951.
In the Electoral Registers (from 1943-1951) Cyrill was not staying at the adress where Druida was staying (104, Murray Road, Ealing). I think with the in-laws, but not sure.

So my questions:

Where was Cyrill all that time ? (From 1943 untill he died in 1969).
When did he return to England ?
And when did he leave the military ?

Strange: Cyril's wife Druida is living at 104 Murray Road from 1943 untill 1951 when she died.
Husband Cyril is at the same address 1935 until 1938 according to England and Wales Register.
When his wife lives there he is nowhere to be seen.
He returns to this address from 1956 to 1965 according to the Electoral Registers.

But where was he after the war until 1956 ? Why wasn't he with his wife Druida ?

Are there any records of the missing years ?
