Hi Mary Beth, your photo is quite small, is there any chance that you could scan it at a resolution of 300dpi. You can post a file size of up to 500kb and yours is a very small file. It's a lovely photo but needs a lot of work.

Zoe....This is the standard advice and guidelines that we restorers have always worked by:

We are not professionals, we are volunteers with many years experience and offer our services freely. Many posters do not have the original photos and under those circumstances, we work with what we are offered and give it our best shot.
Low resolution images, although doable, for restoration purposes are not easy on the eyes and don't give as much fine detail.
