Francis and Rosina Hill
« on: Tuesday 31 March 20 14:59 BST (UK) »
Hi

Im having trouble finding these people on the 1841 census. They had a daughter Rosina (after the mother) christened in April 1841 in Evesham. So i believe they were in Evesham when the census was conducted.

Has anyone got a further resource that might shed light on their whereabouts in 1841 please?

Tia

Think I looked at this yesterday

I do believe that the census for 1841 was taken on 06/06/1841, so Rosina should be on that census with her mother Rosina

Try Rosina HELL if using Ancestry aged 3mths.  When you see the original image - you will understand the problem

yes Carole well done, gosh what an awful write up but at least we know they were in Evesham, both Rosina and her brother were baptised in St Lawrence Church Evesham

Ah that date should confirm it then... cheers

I can find no census record for them in 1841.

Ahhh... thanks, but im not on ancestry so i cannot view the entry. (had a beef with them taking money out of my account without my permission and losing my tree)

I was only wanting to know who was there really as im really searching for William Hill, Francis's previous partner in work. Im trying to prove that William was a bigamist and if i could prove he was Francis's father then that does prove it.

Do i take it that only Francis, Rosina and daughter Rosina are on that entry?
