I can trace the McClures back to Scotland but the Swans are a mystery going back in time!!

years since I looked at these...will email person who wanted to trace them!  They were certainly well connected!! Had Bleachgreens, Mills etc

I contacted the person who was trying to go back in time and see if any advances were made. The McClures were the easy bit.   ;D

The above Hugh Swan probably had a sister, Anne Swan.

The above Hugh Swan probably had a relation, Anne Swan.


Anne Swan married Thomas McClure.  Tom and Anne had,
William McClure (1757-1843) m. Elizabeth Thompson, dau of the Rev.
 John Thompson and Miss Laird, dau of the Rev. William Laird of Ray, Co. Donegal.
