Peachy family mystery
« on: Wednesday 01 April 20 20:54 BST (UK) »
Favell Crafts married Henry Peachy in 1819 in London, they had three children, Henry (1820), Alfred(1824) and Favell (1826). By !840 Favell is in the United States , and by 1850 her children Henry & Favell are on the census.
I was trying to find when the family came to USA and in 1828 there was a family with a remarkable similarity to the Peacheys.
Henry 33, Favell 35,Henry 8, Alfred 4, Favell 2, surname Howard, Ok for some reason they were travelling with an alias, but I also have a death in 1830 at Everton, Lancashire of Alfred Peachy aged 5 son of Henry & Favell, did Alfred and his father return to England or is there some other explanation.
