I did, as I did last week.   In my own road it was only the same people that came out to clap (from my limited window viewing point).

I clapped again.  There were many more in our street this week, clapping and banging pans.  The people across the road let off rocket fireworks from their front garden.  A great turn out.

Thank you carers  :-*

It was noisier this week -  clapping, cheering, a makeshift band and a rocket.

Most of my neighbours were out, also banging pans, fireworks nearby. My next door neighbours were playing the Neighbours theme.  :D Makes me want to cry.

I'm in Wolverhampton Gadget so quite a distance from you, but it sounds like people are doing similar things all over the country.  I will have to think of something unique to make a noise with next week.  Maybe I'll take the dog out, he wails like a banshee when he first goes out the front door  ;D

I was thinking of taking our cat, Harry, who was very very very loudly miaowing.  Not, I'm afraid, in support of carers and key workers, but because he thought I'd not given him enough Dreamies.

Is that the cat food they advertise on TV that lures your neighbour's cat?  :D
