Hello Trees,

Try this address;
https://www.whipple.org/oxford/diocesan_marriage_bonds.html

I think it has marriages from 1661. I have used it myself on occasions and have referred it others.

Hope it works for you.

I haven't seen anything for marriages upto 1661.

Worton is a hamlet in the parish of Cassington, if that helps.

Ancestry has Oxfordshire parish records, don't know if you have a subscription.
The Berkshire records have not been digitised.

Yes I've checked right through the Cassington,, Faringdon,  Wytham and Ashbury records that are available on either An..try or FindMyPast or Family Search.
Using the marriages that I can find the dates of the first children when known I get the following:

John either 1663 or 1669 depending on it you do or do not accept Martha baptised to John no mother 1663,  as his child there was a Jane baptised to a John and Martha in Great Faringdon in 1657. So little Martha falls between Jane and Elizabeth dr of John and Mary 1669

Martha Rogers first known child1 671

Frisis married 3 Jan 1674/75 in St Thomas Oxford

Richard first child1680

George first child1680

Thomas married  26 Jan 1684/85 in Cassington

Jane married 26 Jan 1694/95 in Cassington

That leaves Robert and Elizabeth who were both unmarried in 1702.

Would it be reasonable to put them on the tree in this order? But my gut feeling is that the sons were in order on the will so that puts Thomas between Richard and George. I know Thomas was born 1654 and married 1684/85 aged 30 may be I need to look for  a previous marriage for him.
As its only Frisis who appears on the link Ribbo kindly gave I wonder if Francis and his wife were non conformists or even RC did only Cof E appear on that index? Thomas is the only one who has his birth in the parish register..note his birth not baptism or christening now why would that happen?

Robert Taylor to Frideswide Sanders - 23 Jan 1674. Ox St Thomas, both of Cassington.

There is this, but Mary not Martha.!..........

Robert Rogers, to Mary Cowldry. 27 Jan 1664. Wytham, Berks.

That's your lot for SANDERS, as far as I can see from the Index, with matching the brides Christian names.

Thank you steve,
In Wytham there is a baptism on 10/10/1665 for a son of Robert and Mary and on 12/02/1666 for a dughter of Robert and Elizabeth Rogers but The will makes it clear that Martha Sa(u)nders married Robert Rogers and there are  9 baptisms for children of Robert and Martha Rogers26 Sep 1671to 23 Nov 1690
So how many Roberts were there it is clear I need a marriage about 1671 for Robert and Martha

The St Thomas Oxford register clearly shows
Robert Taylor to Frissis Sanders - 23 Jan 1674. Ox St Thomas, both of Cassington. ( you can see the photographed register on An..try.

I am wondering if the lack of records of Francis and Martha and their children was due to the ommonwealth period.

OOH Look Mary wife of Robert Rogers was buried in Wytham Dec 17 1668 so there were 2 Roberts around  (as Elizabeth had her child before Mary died)and this one could go on to marry Martha I'll keep looking.
