Donovan/ Santry Connection

Noswaith dda/ Dia Duit, from Cymru.   I am interested in a possible marriage/ connection between Donovan and Santry, within the Leap/ Tullig/  Reenescrena area of West Cork.  The Catholic parish would be, Kilmacabea.
Because of the copious amount of Donovan families in this area, families were often assigned an additional tag.  My Donovans were and, I believe, are still known  as Sean Og.

Just put Santry in, and Clonakilty as District and search.....nothing else

Thanks  Sinann.  I am looking around the 1800-1820 era.  The family I am looking for would have resided around the Leap (more specifically Tullig) area.  I have my Donovan family here, looking to establish a link between Donovan and the leader of the 1798 Rebellion in West Cork, Tadhg an As Asia (O'Donovan). It was passed down the generations in my family, that we are related.
As you well know, there are so many Donovans in West Cork!   My Donovan were/ are  known as, "Sean Og,"  apparently tags were used to  distinguish the many families.  I have it on good, local authority, that the Sean Og and the Santry families  are related, trying to find that link.

Have you tried Church Records?

Just put Surname in, hit Search...from results click   Cork    folder and get Parishes, then check any Parish in or near Leap
