James and Margaret Fisher
« on: Saturday 04 April 20 12:16 BST (UK) »
Looking for James and Margaret Fisher, brother and sister. James b.c.1705, Margaret b.c.1715 and assuming they were born in London/Whitechapel, and any other siblings.
James became a baker, a very well off baker I might add, and mentions his sister Margaret Dosson in his Will. She was buried as Margary Dosson at St.Mary Whitechapel on 11 Feb 1779 age 64 (b.1715).
James Fisher was buried at St.Mary Whitechapel on 18 Feb 1776 age 71 (b.1705).

Who are the parents of James and Margaret.

I did a search, found a Margaret baptised 1715, parents Arthur and Margaret, but no sibling called James.
 Any help appreciated. Thanks.

No help in finding James’ parentage, but....
6 Dec 1767  St Mary Whitechapel
Thomas Dosson, bachelor, and Mary Horner, widow, were married by licence, both signed, the witnesses were Mary Fisher and John Campbell.

Probate 28 Apr 1766 St Mary Whitechapel
Frederick Horner, licenced victualler of St Mary Whitechapel, granted to his widow and sole executor Margery Horner.

17 Dec 1743 St Benet Paul’s Wharf
Margery Fisher married Frederick Horner.

Jo, thanks for that, it's helpful, I'll put it with my notes as sometimes you have to collect details around the outside before you actually find what you're looking which is in the middle.

Cheers, Dave.  :) :) :)

Thanks to jomcd, your information was correct and the details have now been entered into my tree and fills a gap. Since then I went on to locate where they came from. I am now collecting details from this village.
My enquiry is complete for James and Margaret/Margery/Mary. SOLVED.
