« on: Monday 06 April 20 15:08 BST (UK) »

There are some areas where this is possible which I use regularly but not sure if Brighton has one.

In particular I am looking for the certificate of

Hi,

That marriage took place at St Peter's (according to the Marriage Locator website) in Brighton, but their scans of marriages on Family Search only go up to 1876 so I think you will have to get the certificate I'm afraid.

Thanks rosie99, I do have Evelyn's early life, including her Baptismal record.  Just can't find anything on her or her husband after the marriage.

They do disappear don't they.

Maybe Charles was Irish and they settled over there or they emigrated :-\

Looks like he married her older sister, Kathleen first over in India in 1885.  Evelyn also died over in India in 1889. So looks like he lived in India and they travelled there after their marriage, but can't find what ship they sailed on.

He was also a widower when he married Kathleen so looked like he made a habit of it!
