Marriage Thomas Hopkinson and Jane circa 1814
« on: Tuesday 07 April 20 14:48 BST (UK) »
This may well be Mission Impossible, but here goes

I am seeking the marriage of Thomas Hopkinson (21/4/1793-24/12/1868 North Wingfield) and Jane.  They had 9 sons bpt N Wingfield 1816-1836.  Jane bur 3/8/1876 (81) of Locko Brook, NW cause of death senile decay.  Census entries are

1841 Jane age 45 b Whittington
1851 Jane age 56 b Whittington
1861 Jane age 66 b Whittington
1871 Jane age 76 b Whittington

I understand that the 1813 PRs and BTs for Whittington no longer exist.

My favourite candidate for Jane is dau of Robert and Jane Moore bpt privately 10 Feb 1795 Whittington recd (received?) 29 March 1795.

No luck finding the marriage but just to let you know the Whittington records are on Ancestry.

BMD 1650 - 1812 not too good.
Baptisms 1813 - 1916 good.
Marriages 1754 - 1931 badly damaged early 1800s.
