One other thing I have noticed is that George French and Annie Wilkins are both listed as
iving at 23 St. Gabriel street Newington (Butts?).

When she married William Shanley they are both listed as living at the same address as above so he must have moved in with her before they married.

For info. you may already have these details from London Electoral Register

Hi everyone,

Thank you so much for all of your replies! I really appreciate it. I work in aviation and have just arrived in New York so I want to spend the time reading all of your posts properly so I will do that tomorrow as I am on hotel lockdown!
I rang my dad just now and he said his mum had one sister that he knew of called “auntie Doll” who was married to Charlie. He did say Doris and then said he wasn’t actually sure of her real name so maybe she was in contact with her half sister Doris? I don’t want to rush through all of your posts (although I’ve had a brief scan!) so I’ll give them the attention they deserve tomorrow, but from what I can see it looks very interesting and I just want to say thank you all!

That’s her! My grandfather was George Turner and I was about 10 when he died so 1994 fits with that!
