Not sure about the first word but I think it's a Revercon (reversion) that he purchased. "my freinds trusted to convey" cb

I think the first word is Cruxton - is that a place-name?. Reversion is correct with contraction marks 'revercon' as Clayton says.
The final words are 'trusted to convey'

I'd also say it's 'Cruxton' - certainly sounds like the name of a place.
What county are we in Designer Jeans?

Just to say that all the expert advice in paleography and transcribing old documents is to 'write what you see' - so you should really be transcribing it just as it's written with all the original spellings. If you want to make a 'modernised' version as well of course you could that too.

So you'd write 'reversion' as 'Rev(er)con' for example.

I never cease to be amazed at the brilliance and generosity of people on Rootschat.  Nathaniel Napper was of Marston Magna, Dorset and mentioned Dorchester in his will.  Cruxton is mid way between the two.  So, spot on.  Thank you all so much for your help.
