Finding William and Susannah Brinded
« on: Wednesday 08 April 20 14:36 BST (UK) »
Hi,
I'm researching William Brinded. Father of Anne Brinded b 1768 and Susannah Brinded (born 1773) Both in Wickhampton.
William's wife according to the baptism entries  was Susannah.
I cannot trace any likely marriage between William Brinded and Susanna at all.

There is an interesting death entry in Wickhampton 1798 for a Susannah Chester wife of William Brinded died aged 74 years. Putting her birth at 1724.
Which would mean she was almost 50 when she had Susanna. This I know is still  possible. (Perhaps it was a second marriage or just they just had children late)but I have my doubts.

A Susannah Chester was born in 1738 Swanton Morley (Parents Samuel and Susannah) and a William Brinded in 1739 in Freethorpe (Parents William and Elizabeth). Who could feasibly have married in the 1760's assumed they are the people I'm looking for.

Who was the Susannah Chester born in 1724 who was married to William Brinded.

I am very confused can anyone help?

Thank You, is this on FindMyPast? They could very well be his parents
and the Susannah born in 1724 (burried in 1798) could be his wife after all. Her age is the only factor that doesn't sit right.
Many Thanks for your help.
