When this is over, I can't wait for/to...
« on: Thursday 09 April 20 10:42 BST (UK) »
Obviously the main one is meeting up with family and friends again but the small things are what makes all the difference.

...to get my hair cut
...to be able to go to shops other than supermarkets
...to have lunch at our favourite restaurant
...to her different news

Anything else?

To see Daughter and Grandkids

To go see my older Brother and Sister in Law who are both presently highly vulnerable

To take our dog to the beach

To go to concerts again

To meet up with friends

Apart from everything mentioned, I think just the fact to be able to go out, when I want and to where I want. Or to talk to the neighbours over the fence without having to stand in the middle of the garden shouting at each other.

To be able to get my usual supermarket delivery without finding every slot for weeks ahead is fully booked.   At the moment it's the highlight of the day when I actually manage to get a slot!

To hug my grandson - he's learned to walk since this started! We can't even get him a proper pair of shoes ...
Get my hair cut and re-permed
Go out for a meal

Life since lockdown started isn't much different for us as life before lockdown. We are not into theatre or films, seldom eat out  and can't stand noisy pubs. We find sitting in the car for any length of time gets uncomfortable so don't travel much. Since we retired we mainly stay at home ecxept for going shopping so since lockdown our life hasn't changed much.I just have this feeling of being caged, incarcerated, call it what you will. I just want my freedom back so that if I want to do something I can.

The same as other people - I want to see and to hug my daughters and grandchildren; I was in need of a haircut when the lockdown happened, so that is fairly urgent; I want to be able to go away in the motorhome and I desperately want to sing with my trio and with both of the bigger groups to which I belong. I want to drink wine with my sister and with my friends! I want to be at a folk festival with wonderful musicians, singers and dancers! I want to go to France!!!

I want all my family and friends to be alive and well.
