Think this might be because she and Charles V. Homewood had divorced - a Charles V. Homewood married Sept.1976 Hove - so, as a divorced woman, would she now be classed as single?

According to the record Charles married a Georgina Barnett.  Unless Agnes radically changed her name unlikely to be her.

GG, Agnes Veronica Saari is on the Register of Nurses 1946, living at 66 Fonthill Road Hove. Qualifications Hastings Municipal Hospital affiliated to Brighton Municipal Hospital 1936-1941.

There seems to be another lady who died in the same year and quarter and has the same birth date as Agnes - 27.1.1922

I can find no trace of Agnes in the GRO index nor is she there as Veronica.

Veronica A Saari can be found on the 1939 Register (FindMyPast) with her married name noted. But birth year is 4 years earlier than noted on her death record.
