Chorley. Missing birth 1860-80?

[Brentor boy]

Edward Chorley (b c 1842 Bradford on Tone)  married Ann Winter (1841 Wellington) in Wellington, Somerset in 1862. In 1911, when they were living in Bath, they declared they had been married for 48 years and had had 10 children, 4 of whom were still alive. I have discovered 9 births and 5 deaths but cannot find the tenth child.

I have trawled the GRO Index as thoroughly as I know how, and have checked Free Reg, Free BMD and Family Search without success. Can anyone see something I have missed? I appreciate that the couple may have lost count or counted a still birth in error.

The birth of Albert Edward was registered in Wellington, all other events were registered In Bath.

My grand daughter is planning to research this family, to whom we are distantly related, and she is proposing to investigate the causes and circumstances of the early deaths  in the hope that this might provide some insight into the family's life and times.

Does the GRO offer a discount for bulk orders by any chance? (Some hope!)

Thanks for confirming the full details of the 9 known children, Jamjar.
I suppose it is possible that a tenth child was born alive but died shortly afterwards, treated like a still born and  not registered.
