all i know is  jimmy/james penfold born 1888 devon  son of  edward and racheal. jimmy ?married a sarah connors ,lived wales some where  ?  it was said he had  22 children ?.i know nothing else about him.my mother said  her father went to wales to see him .

There is a 1918 marriage in Llanelly
James Penfold and Sarah Janes

I can see 3 possible births. (Not a large number  :-\)
You could check this out with 1939 register if you thought it likely. We are not allowed to post details from that.

That 1918 marriage names his father as Edward Penfold, occ Horse Dealer   :). The marriage was at Loughor

Could be a second marriage? He's nearly 30 and his wife is a fair bit younger (if 1939 is correct)
