Mary Ealman
« on: Monday 13 April 20 16:53 BST (UK) »
Hi,

I’m looking for the ancestors of Mary Ealman who married 1752 in London to Robert Langridge both of West Hoathly,Sussex, Mary died there in 1821 age 89, so born about 1732. The surname could be Illman too.

Is there a possible baptism for her in Sussex?

Ellen

There’s a baptism for a Mary Illman in Balcombe in 1725 daughter of Richard and another Mary baptised in Balcombe 1725 daughter of John  and one in Patcham in 1729 daughter of Thomas and Hannah Illman. But it’s possible that none of them is the one I’m looking for

I'm still looking for the right Mary Ealman/Illman wife of Robert Langridge. Mary died 1821 West Hoathly age 89 so born around 1732. The last child was born in 1775 so i think the Balcombe baptisms 1725 are unlikely, she would have been 50 when her last child was born in 1775.

I'm grateful for any help  :)
