SMITH, HERBERT  ERNEST     HEATH
GRO Reference: 1894  S Quarter in WEST HAM  Volume 04A  Page 316

Is this your man? Hes the only one born that year, but not near Lincoln.

Ethel was born Lincoln in 1921, not 22.

i have just looked at a picture of Herbert grave stone he was 67 years old when he died

On Find a Grave
https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/158617791

But death reg has him two years older
June 1964  Lincoln 3b 303
Smith, Herbert E.
age 69

If the info on Find a Grave is correct(?), Herbert was previously married to Hilda Earl (which was in 1919, as plain Herbert)
That couple seem to be together in Lincoln on the 1939 Register.
Free index has Herbert Smith born 1894, at 103 Goldsmith Walk.

Herbert Smith of 103 Goldsmith Walk is in the Lincolnshire Echo, 7 December 1932.
Something about a radio pole.

i dont have any certificate and when i have tried to talk to family bout the passed they dont say anything.

plus ethel had two sons with different surnames to rest of her children one her maiden name maxted and a nother as turner as surname.

as for josiah yes i do belive he was born at north scarle.
