There is a living in duddeston and father Thomas a labourer.  There is a boy William born to George still a miner 21/9/1851 and my grand mother was born 7/1/1854 with George an excavator?  however 1851 census Sophia is living with her parents and no sign of George.and Sophia remarries in 1855 to James humans.

There is a George Coleman living at this address 3, Princes Street, Richmond Surrey, Richmond upon Thames, Surrey in the 1851 census.

He is stated as being married and a miner born in Northamptonshire.  Birth year given as 1824.

Could this be your George?

Where did it take place, and did she marry as Sophia Coleman or Sophia Davis?

I cannot see any marriage for a James Humans/Human to Sophia between 1851 and 1871 on free bmd.

As Bev has asked where did you find that Sophia had remarried?
