I've checked but cannot spot Edward's father's occupation from the marriage cert? It has been requested - am I missing something?

Apologies - it is just given as “labourer”. It doesn’t specify whether he is living or not

the problem with the Edwards enumerated as 15, they could be up to 20 years old because of the rounding down that happened only in the 1841 census.

Clwyd Family History Society has published on CD the Cocking Index relating to the pre 1837 Non-Conformist registers of Flintshire, Sadly now "Out of Stock". Maybe someone has this CD and can help. See http://www.clwydfhs.org.uk/publications/otherpubs.htm
