The marriage record shows
Thomas’s father as Thomas  Clark , Gentn (gentleman abbreviated, I think)
Mary Ann’s father as Thomas Sadler, Ironmonger (I think)
The writing isn’t that clear.

Do you have them on census as that would indicate approximately when they were born and where.

In 1861 246/118/20

Thomas is 31 yrs p, b Bethnal Green and Mary A is 41 yrs. She is born Bishopsgate.

This looks quite good
Mary Ann Sadler born 12th December 1839 and baptised 15th January 1840
Parents Thomas Sadler and Ruth Sadler (Maslin) address 9 North Place, Kingsland Road
Thomas is a Chemist  :-\
The baptism is Non-conformist, Bishopsgate.

You could try to follow that up to check.
