Interesting.... In Robert's obit there is mention of a Margaret & John Sitek of Scottsdale, AZ.

It appears Margaret is Agnes's sister, and she & her husband John immigrated in 1952. This would explain why Agnes moved to and was living in Arizona when she died after her husband  James Howard Repetto died in Oregon in 2001.

It appears Margaret was naturalized in 1957.

RJ137, thanks so much for the info, you've just helped me add 4 siblings to Agnes. Scottish certificates are not available after 1919, so although I had the names listed, I couldn't prove the connections. Margaret Sitek's obit has just done that.

BarryD, the things some people will do for a free cruise. How do you get these jobs?

Stay safe and avoid the bugs.

Have you figured out who the "Aunt Meg in Chicago" who sponsored her is?

I must get myself worldwide membership  of a well-known site, instead of just UK!!!

I've found Chicago Meg!! her married name was Margaret Cairns Mills. She emigrated from Scotland in 1937 and married a fellow Scot, Alexander Mills, in Des Plains, Illinois. In 1942 they were living in Chicago, when she applied for Naturalization.

Many thanks for all your efforts.
