Williams in Llanelly
« on: Wednesday 15 April 20 19:23 BST (UK) »
Looking for children of Elizabeth Williams nee Evans and John Wiliams. They were Esther Jane b. 2/6/1894 Llanelly. marr. David S. REES in 1913 and died 1974 - looking for anyone connected with her. Also her brothers David John b. 21/6/1898 Steam Mill Llanelly, and Samuel b. 24/7/1900 Rogers Cottages, Mill St, Llanelly. In 1901 Elizabeth was a widow living at 18 Mill St Carmarthen with the children. I would like to know if anyone has any of these on their tree as I have been unable to find anything about them apart from Esther.

Just to clarify, in 1901 they are in Mill St, Carmarthen - the address is no 18, not no 8

Here's a bit of information on the family situation in 1904, under "the admission of destitute children"

Death of John Williams

If you found David and Esther Rees in 1939 you'll find what looks like her youngest brother there as well

Thankyou for that excellent newspaper reports Mabel. My poor grandfather Evan must have suffered. I already have John Williams death and I was told about Esther marrying David but no more than that. By the way the link for 1911 you sent me doesn't work.

Just to let you know I looked on the 1911 census for Evan Evans in Carmarthenshire (Llanelly) and got  the info I wanted. Just trying to find out now what happened to Samuel (b. 1900), Esther Jane (b. 1894) and David John Williams (b.1898), and Daniel Evans (b.1890).
