Bridget a roper
« on: Thursday 16 April 20 00:35 BST (UK) »
Hi

I am trying to find information of my great great grandmother Bridget A Roper born in 1865 in Ireland. She married my Great great grandfather Abraham Lincoln Denning in 1888 and they had 3 children Harry, Grace and Walter. She died in 1923.  I don't have much information other than the names of her parents I had were wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Do you have the family on census?
Do you have the marriage certificate which will show each parties father and occupation?

In the 1900 census they say they have been married for 12 years, so c1888

Modified to add:
The 1920 census Bridget says she immigrated in 1884, so married in the US. As son Harry was born South Dakota, I assume that 's where they were married?

Children's births and marriages all show mother's surname as ROPER (as OP said  :) ), though with varying given names - Bridget, Agnes, Beasey and Bessie.

Some others:

Ellen M. DENNING born 17 August 1900, https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FXNJ-4N5
                                  died 17 My 1901 aged 9 months  https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:N7NQ-2JQ
Female DENNING born 24 May 1902  https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FX4T-SX2
Male DENNING died 24 May 1902 https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FHHC-GQ2

(suspect this last may be incorrect, as the birth registration says female child, stillborn)
