Missing 3 or 4 words

Wm Lawrie son to John in Lochrutton
?................? and Eliz Slouan daughter to
John Slouan in Lochrutton gave up their names for
Proclaimation and were married this _day _ of June
at Lochrutton kirk.

Can anyone work out the missing few words, please?

I think the first word in line 2 could be residing, so perhaps a place-name follows? Local knowledge needed?

Could the third missing word be parish?

Yes, I can see residing might be right. Any idea of the starting letter of the second word, which might help me find the place.
The parish is Lochrutton, but the place will be a locality.
