So, again room for rule bending if you feel so inclined.  I have just heard someone say you can now walk twice a day and drive to walk as long as the drive is no more than half an hour !  So is that half an hour each way? ...whoopee I can go to the seaside ! Then again all car parks remain closed and all available parking is taken by residents staying at home.😔

Actually I know where I’m going to be at least for the next couple of weeks and that’s at home!

The Police are patrolling here. Police are sending people home or issuing penalty fines.

Yes Suey, Stay Home.

Our Lancet Journal in an article "Estimates of the severity of coronavirus disease 2019: a model-based analysis" says:-

1023 Deaths there were 44672 Laboratory confirmed cases.
 ----------
It is a highly infectious contact spreading disease too and easily transferable by contact with surfaces and then to your face (easily transferable to nose and eyes), besides breathing it in from others nearby, as well.

Going out on non-essential trips and journeys is like playing Russian Roulette to me.

When looking at our local situation of 1,000 houses (mainly a modern Estate tagged on to a village) now joined to a major town, we have several small open space area provisions, a disused railway converted into a walking track some years ago, leading to a network of public rural paths half a mile away.

Everyone is social distancing when passing too and all of us are stepping out of each other's way when passing.

You can be Coronavirus Positive now with no symptons (or even be a recovered patient and now be Coronavirus Positive again).

Stay safe, Mark

What about picking up stuff from Click and Collect at, say, B&Q?
Got a half finished patio (started before lockdown) but ran out of cement. Haven't touched it since, but worried it's dangerous and would like to complete it if poss to avoid accidents.
Would obviously keep my distance and wear mask and gloves.

If C&C isn't allowed, why are they doing it?

Get the materials you need delivered directly to your home.

Certainly Wickes are showing that whilst deliveries are still occuring the next day service is unlikely.

Before the lockdown but as we were starting to stay in, my last trip was to click and collect at our B and Q. I didn’t need to go in the main store, there is a separate entrance and the goods were available immediately.
I would imagine that there are now procedures in place for distancing etc.

Suey is boasting that her car is so big she can walk about in it. Perhaps it's not a car but a redundant bus!  ;D
