It is a highly infectious contact spreading disease too and easily transferable by contact with surfaces and then to your face (easily transferable to nose and eyes), besides breathing it in from others nearby, as well.
Going out on non-essential trips and journeys is like playing Russian Roulette to me.
When looking at our local situation of 1,000 houses (mainly a modern Estate tagged on to a village) now joined to a major town, we have several small open space area provisions, a disused railway converted into a walking track some years ago, leading to a network of public rural paths half a mile away.
Everyone is social distancing when passing too and all of us are stepping out of each other's way when passing.
You can be Coronavirus Positive now with no symptons (or even be a recovered patient and now be Coronavirus Positive again).
