Richard Rowland husband of Anne Butler
b.1617 Jan 10 b.Jan 14 St Mary the Virgin, St Mary the Virgin, Horsham, West Sussex, Eng.    not this Richard Rowland

Hi,

I can't see another Richard Rowland baptised in Sussex around the right time. What about looking over the border in Horne or Burstow? There was a lot of movement back and forth between Worth and these parishes. In 1635 there was a Richard Rowland baptised in Horne - I know he is not your chap - but I would think the coincidence of the name would be worth looking into - perhaps named after an Uncle?

Thanks Liz, I will try a broader search.  I am not really sure how I will know that I have the right man!
