Have you looked for a birth entry for Betty Morgan on freebmd?  Only one in the June qtr 1924

Do you have a copy of her marriage cert showing her fathers name?

What was your relationship to her?  Are you descended from one of her children?

Can't see a Morgan/Gray marriage

My partner is a Gray and we're looking for a link to her, if there is one  I found her birth and death on Ancestry. I have no certificates to show birth, marriage or death
I'll look at BMD
Thanks

If you found the same birth as me under Betty Morgan - you will know she was b Bedwellty &  her mothers maiden name was Lewis

However - that does not explain the absence of a Betty Morgan/Gray marriage.  There is one in the right area in 1968 but that Betty had a middle name

Just found death in 1991 - born 1916 James Marcus V Gray

For info.

His birth registration showing his middle names and mother's maiden name

James Marcus Vincent GRAY mmn   ENSOR
1916  M Quarter in ROSS  Volume 06A  Page 744

James Marcus V GRAY born 9 1 1916
Dec 1991 Luton
Register number   1091 Bedfordshire Volume   9 Page   345

JMVG 1939 register married same dob as death record
possible marriage entry Dec 1938 Suffolk J B BROWNE
Not seeing any Gray/Browne births from 1938 onwards

Not found a death entry for J B GRAY so have not named her in full

A possibility of another marriage for James M V Gray - again not named her in full as have not found a death entry. He may or may not be the same person that married JBB without his middle names difficult to say for sure.

James M V Gray Sep 1947 to B I GIDDINS
3 GRAY/GIDDINS births registered in Luton 1948 - 1954 (see FreeBMD)

I've had a look at Bedfordshire, England, Electoral Registers, 1832-1986 and found these entries so far as a possibility for James M V Gray, unfortunately middle names are only given as initials so can't' be 100% certain

Year 1947
17 Westbourne Road
James M V Gray plus six other persons different surnames

Year 1948
68 Garden Road
James M V & B GRAY

Year 1954
61 High Street
James M V & B I Gray

Years 1960/61/1962
61 Halfway Avenue
James M V Gray
Other at that address surname CRATE male & female

Years 1962/63/64
49 High Street North
James M V Gray
Other at that address surname WAISTELL male & female

Not seeing any connection with the Crate or Waistell to James Gray

Is there more that one James M V Gray  ??? as he appears on 1962 with Crate & Waistell at different addresses

also on the Bedfordshire E.R's there is this couple J M Gray and B H Gray I'm wondering is she is (nee Morgan)

There is one in the right area in 1968 but that Betty had a middle name
B H Morgan married J M Gray 1968, Dunstable

Years 1966/67 South Bedfordshire
address 3a Morcom Road
J M Gray
