Something is amiss?

SSDI: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:J19M-KQ9

The SS archives gives the same info plus her SS number.

But, the NJ death Index list an Annie Butler with the same SSS number Having died 15 Sept 1994 in Neptune, Monmouth, NJ age 82 with DOB as 3 Aug. 1912.

Hello  :)

I believe that the SSDI is the lady I'm after. Her grand-daughter, who is her nearest living relative is applying under the FOIA for the SS application so hopefully something will come of that.

My guess would be that someone's fingers were slightly off on the keyboard & they typed in 12 instead of 01.

Ordinarily, I would recommend contacting the local library to see if they do obituary look-ups or could recommend a newspaper to look in, but they're all closed currently.  Maybe try that when they reopen.   :)

Patience is a virtue - will wait and see when the libraries re-open over there. Hopefully I can end a 12 year long search before this year is out
