A very crusted medal!

My Grand daughter found a pretty grungy medal down our local park..After cleaning it up we can now read the inscriptions...The shape is the same as a Victoria Cross,it did have a loop at the top for a ribbon.At the top cross bit it has the crown,one side EdwardVII ,on the other side Alexandra.The last side has 'Crowned 1902'. Any ideas who would have had a medal like this please?

Try Googling "edward vii coronation cross" does it look like any of them?

Ive had a go at Googling,nothing with the same wording..The writing is hard to see,I had to use a loupe to make it readable..
