To help narrow down a death date - What is the last census entry you have him on

Looking at the 1841 & 1851 entries

1841 John male aged 2
1851 Jane daughter aged 12

Very strange, does appear to be "John" (M) aged 2 in 1841 and "Jane" (F) aged 12 in 1851.   :-\

I assume you've seen the newspaper articles relating to Jeremiah ROSE in trouble for fraud in relation to his paper making in 1828. By 1829  he had "left this country".
