Thank you very much you are superstars and deserve all the credit you get.   I have very often looked at the restores on this board over the years, have only ever been complimentary where credit was due on what a time consuming but beautiful job you do.    I have never took advantage of having anything done for myself up until now.  So I truly appreciate those who have made the effort on my behalf. Sincere thanks. :)

Thank you.

I think the other photo is more likely to be dated 1899, could this be a son or Brother?  Lovely photo.

Possibly around Mid 20s....it's always a good idea to post the whole photo and the back if you have Sandra as it helps with dating.

The man in the other photo is about mid to late 20s.
He has broader shoulders and a slightly bigger physical build than this man in the wedding photo.
Same family but different generation?
Milligan - Jardine – Glencross – Dinwoodie - Brown: (Dumfriesshire & Kirkcudbrightshire)
Clark – Faulds – Cuthbertson – Bryson – Wilson: (Ayrshire & Renfrewshire)
Neale – Cater – Kinder - Harrison: (Warwickshire & Queensland)
Roberts - Spry: (Cornwall, Middlesex & Queensland)
Munster: (Schleswig-Holstein & Queensland) and Plate: (Braunschweig, Neubruck & Queensland & New York)

Thank you DanNC that is lovely.  How long does it take you to do something like that ?

Have only had these particularly photographs a couple of years so had no reason to question dates, just went by what was written on the back.  It was the restore or the interest in seeing what you could do with them now which was my primary aim.
This younger version could be a marriage of a son in 1927. I don't think there would be another candidate before that date.
The one on the other thread was probably 1900 - 1905 - the corners of that photograph are square which I believe were in vogue 1900 - 1910.  So I think the early part of 1900's would fit with work by that particular photographer.

Once again thank you all so much, it has been interesting and I have learned a few things along the way. Cheers.
